When does the course start and finish?
The course is a completely self-paced online course – you decide when you start and when you finish. You can learn at your own pace and can access the course across any and all devices you own. Once the online course is completed, you have 3 months to schedule and attend a driver’s appointment.
What if I am unhappy with the course?
We would never want you to be unhappy! If you are unsatisfied with your purchase and have not attended the in-person driver’s training, contact us in the first 30 days and we will give you a full refund.
How do I access my certificate after completing my driving appointment?
Upon completing your driver’s appointment, you will receive an email with a link to access your OSHA forklift certification from Accredible.com. With Accredible, you are able download a PDF copy or have 24/7 access to your certificate via any online or mobile device.
I’m an employer. Is there anything else I need to do to ensure OSHA compliance?
Yes. Each workplace is different and this course covers the most common conditions and hazards. As an employer, you must ensure your operators are aware of your specific equipment, workplace conditions, and hazards. Be sure to keep a record of these discussions.
Isn’t the online course enough? Do I need to attend a driver’s appointment to receive my certificate?
According to OSHA (1910.178(l)(2)(ii)), an operator must have both formal and practical training to become forklift certified, so you must complete both the online instructional course and the driving appointment to receive your OSHA compliant operator’s certificate from Lift Operator Training.
Can a trainer travel to my workplace and perform the driving appointment for multiple people at one time?
Yes! Many of our partner locations are willing to travel to your workplace if you have a group ready to complete the hands-on driver’s training. After your entire group has completed the online course, contact your local driving partner directly. They can be found using the driving center locator on this page. Depending on your location, you may be charged a travel fee by your local partner to perform the driving appointments onsite.
